How to use Motion test

Watch a moving shape and text to inspect visible trailing and uneven movement.

  1. Choose speed, direction and a light or dark background. The preview remains still until you start.
  2. Select Start fullscreen. The preview does not keep the screen awake.
  3. Follow the moving square and text with your eyes to look for visible trails or uneven motion. This is not a refresh-rate or response-time measurement.
  4. Use Pause/Play or Space while the canvas has focus. Reduced motion and returning from another tab leave motion paused; select Play to resume.
  5. Hide the controls to see the whole pattern. Tap the screen to restore them, then select Finish to exit.

Start and follow the moving square and text with your eyes. Adjust speed, direction, and background to inspect trailing or uneven movement. Pause at any time.

This is a visual check, not a response-time or refresh-rate measurement. Browser rendering, power settings, and other running apps can affect the motion.
