How to use Screen uniformity

Keep your screen on when you need it.

For studying, cooking or keeping a reference in view, screen on me helps prevent your screen from sleeping without changing device settings.

Choose a mode and duration, then press Start.
In Timer mode, tap the center time to switch remaining/current time. Calendar mode shows this month and the local clock.
Keep this page visible. Switching tabs releases the lock; return before the timer ends to resume.
Stop ends a timer. Back ends an image or web session.

Calendar + clockSee the current time and this month at a glance.
ImageKeep photos or reference pages in view and move between them.
Web pageDisplay an embeddable page such as a dashboard.

Keep this page visible. Check the status if the browser releases screen keeping.

Black backgrounds may reduce display power on some screens. Keeping the screen awake still uses battery.

Add to your home screen

Installation is optional. It does not override battery or device settings.

Look for uneven brightness, patches or image retention on white and gray screens.

Select Start fullscreen. The preview does not keep the screen awake.
Use Previous/Next or the color selector to compare white and the different gray levels.
View from a consistent angle and look for patches, color differences or uneven brightness.
With controls hidden, swipe left for the next color or right for the previous color. A short tap shows the controls again.
Hide the controls to see the whole pattern. Tap the screen to restore them, then select Finish to exit.

Inspect white and different shades of gray for uneven brightness, color patches or lingering shapes. Compare from a normal viewing position; ambient light and viewing angle can affect what you see.
